Marine Operations Manager

The Marine Operations Manager view exists to protect the coral reef, Red Sea Global's most valuable natural asset. Reef damage tends to happen quietly, and by the time it is visible it is usually permanent, so the only effective protection is early warning. This view provides that warning in three ways. It gives live sight of reef turbidity and temperature. It shows how many boats and divers are near the reef at any moment, so the site never becomes overcrowded. And when a threshold is crossed, it raises the alarm and assigns the response automatically, rather than leaving it to manual spotting and coordination.

What you see

At the wide view, the bottom strip is the marine read for the destination waters, grouped into reef conditions, capacity management, and active response. A map legend in the corner counts the open items by severity and confirms the environmental sensor feed is live.

The map legend reads the open items by severity: 0 critical, 1 high, 2 medium, and 8 low or info, fed by the environmental sensor feed running live.

Reading reef conditions across the waters

The read works at two levels. At the wide view the strip covers the destination waters. Drop into a marine zone, here the Shura Marina dive and mooring water, and the read rescopes to that water, where boat and diver counts against capacity become legible.

The close-up: three things to act on

At the closest level the view drills into a reef site. The destination strip can read all clear in aggregate while a single site surfaces a condition worth acting on, so the close-up is where those site-level cards appear. Each card states the situation, carries the live feed for the site so it can be confirmed without leaving the card, and offers a primary action plus Remind me later. Three recur, across three alert tiers.

Resting a site before a temperature breach

Reef temperature can climb toward its bleach-risk threshold at one site while the rest of the water stays comfortable. Resting the site before the breach, rather than after, is what protects coral recovery.

Holding arrivals to keep a site within capacity

A reef site fills before it is unsafe, and the risk is that one more arrival tips it over capacity. Holding new arrivals and routing them elsewhere keeps the site within its limit without turning anyone away from the water.

Diverting on a threshold breach

When a site does cross a threshold, the response should already be moving by the time an operator looks. The breach card raises the alarm and auto-assigns the task to marine security rather than waiting for a manual dispatch.

Virtual tour (preview)

The reef is also navigable as a virtual tour, a set of fixed underwater viewpoints you can move between, with info popups on the assets you pass. This is in preview. The frames below are samples.

The water-quality buoys are the clickable assets. Selecting one opens its live status card, reading from the Water Quality Sensor Feed, the same buoy data behind the reef conditions on the strip.

Simulations this view runs

Marine Operations runs six simulations, grouped in the rail the way the platform presents them: Wave and Ocean current under Traffic, Flood and storm surge under Transport, and Wind, Water quality, and Coral reef under Environment. Across all six the simulation object is locked to Vessels. In-water people modelling is not in scope, so a marine run couples an environmental field to vessels on the water, never to swimmers or divers as agents.

Read as a set, each run turns an environmental field into a single operability call.

Traffic

Wave. The goal is to keep small craft running safely while the window allows, and to call the hold early enough that no boat is caught exposed. Ocean current. The goal is a safe dive day: knowing when flow at the channel strengthens enough to make drift a real hazard, before boats are out. Transport

Flood and storm surge. The goal is to protect vessels and the marina, getting craft secured or relocated and barriers raised before the peak puts moored and small boats at risk. The twin plays a storm, tide, and rainfall scenario forward to the marina, reading how high the surge climbs at the berths, how fast water moves through them, and how soon it arrives, so the marine response is made with time in hand. Environment

Wind. The goal is to set the working day with confidence, knowing the marine window, the small-craft limit, and the load on moorings before conditions tighten.
