The RSG Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) Digital Twin is Vizzio's live, three-dimensional operational picture of Red Sea Global destinations. It brings every operational layer of a destination, the guests, the fleet that moves them, the environment they move through, and the marine ecosystem the destination is built to protect, onto a single interactive map. The result is one shared, real-time view of the destination rather than a patchwork of separate dashboards.
The IOC gives four operator personas, the Guest Experience Manager, the Operations Manager, the Environment Manager, and the Marine Operations Manager, a role-specific view of that same destination. Each persona sees the metrics, cameras, and alerts that matter to its work, and each can move across three map detail levels, from a destination-wide overview down to a single site. Everything renders on one Mapbox GL JS canvas, so the map is always the common ground.

What the IOC does
The IOC renders each Red Sea Global destination as an interactive three-dimensional twin that mirrors what is happening on the ground in real time. An operator signs in to the persona that matches their role and immediately sees the destination through that lens. From there they can drill from the destination-wide overview down to a single site, watch live closed-circuit television (CCTV) feeds, respond to alerts the moment they surface, and rehearse what-if scenarios in simulation before they ever play out for real.
What ties all of this together is the map. Every persona, every panel, and every alert resolves to a place on it, so a number in a panel, a camera tile, and an alert in the tray all point back to the same physical location. That shared surface is what lets the teams move from reacting to a problem after a guest has felt it to seeing the problem build and acting first.
One twin, two modes
The IOC runs in two modes over the same twin: Live and Simulation. Both use the same map, the same four personas, and the same map LOD 1/2/3 structure. What changes is the question. Live answers what is happening on Shura Island right now, reading current detections, telemetry, and CCTV through each persona's dashboard.

Simulation answers what would happen if, taking the live state of the destination and carrying it forward under a chosen pressure, a surge of arrivals, a fleet drawn down, a wind shift onto the reef, through an engine-backed forecast. A run moves between a default state, where the operator composes the scenario, and a running state, where the twin shows the forecast.

Map levels of detail
The IOC uses three map detail levels, written here as map LOD so they stay distinct from the documentation layering pattern. Moving between them is the core navigation of the product: each level changes both what the map shows and what the analysis panel reads, so an operator can travel from the whole destination to a single asset without ever leaving the twin.
- Map LOD 1, destination overview: the full destination with aggregate KPIs drawn from every active layer, the altitude at which patterns across the destination become visible.
- Map LOD 2, district zoom: a selected district or zone with its own metrics, status, and neighbouring zones, where a destination-wide signal narrows to the area driving it.
- Map LOD 3, site detail: a single site or asset in full context, with live feeds and the recommended actions that turn a reading into a decision.

This guide is organised in four parts. Getting Started introduces the platform and walks through the interface, including the alert tray and the CCTV grid. Persona Views documents each of the four operator personas in turn, the numbers they read and the decisions the view is built to support. Simulation covers how operators rehearse a scenario on the twin and read the forecast it returns, with crowd and traffic shown on the map as the scenario plays. Reference holds the glossary, the keyboard shortcuts, and the status values shared across every persona.
