Red Sea Global's operations teams need to follow guest movements, transport, environmental conditions and marine activity across the same destination. The RSG Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) Digital Twin brings that information together on a live 3D map, so teams can investigate a location using the same picture of what is happening.
The guide covers four roles: Guest Experience Manager, Operations Manager, Environment Manager and Marine Operations Manager. Each has its own metrics, cameras and alerts, while sharing the map and its destination, district and site views. The interface calls these roles personas. Mapbox GL JS renders the map.

What the IOC does
Sign in with the account assigned to your role to see the relevant destination data. From the overview, select a district or site to inspect local conditions, view live closed-circuit television (CCTV) feeds, and respond to alerts. Simulation mode lets you explore what could happen under a different set of conditions.
Metrics, camera feeds, and alerts are linked to locations on the map. This lets you check where a problem is developing and compare the information about that place before deciding what to do.
One twin, two modes
The IOC has two modes: Live and Simulation. Both use the same map, four personas, and three levels of detail (LOD 1, 2, and 3). Live mode shows current conditions on Shura Island using detections, telemetry, and CCTV feeds.
Live mode: the Operations Manager HQ view, reading the destination as it is right now.
Simulation mode starts with the destination's live state and models a selected scenario, such as increased arrivals, fewer available vehicles, or a change in wind over the reef. In the default state, you set up the scenario. Once the run starts, the twin displays the forecast.

Personas
Each persona focuses on a different part of destination operations. Together they cover the guest journey, transport, environmental conditions, and marine activity. The table uses the working role titles used throughout this guide; their formal expansions should be confirmed against the RSG IOC Technical statement of work.

Map levels of detail
The map has three levels of detail, referred to as map LOD. As you move between them, the map and its associated metrics change to match the area you select.
- Map LOD 1, destination overview: the whole destination, with combined KPIs from all active layers. Use it to identify patterns across the destination.
- Map LOD 2, district zoom: a selected district or zone, with local metrics, status, and neighbouring zones. Use it to find the area behind a destination-wide change.
- Map LOD 3, site detail: a single site or asset, with live feeds and recommended actions. Use it to investigate conditions and review a response.

Coverage
The prototype currently covers Shura Island. Further Red Sea Global destinations will follow as their data and 3D tiles become available.
